The Nordic Financial News MCP server provides resources that AI assistants can read to prime their context without making tool calls. MCP resources are useful for giving an AI assistant an overview of recent Nordic financial news activity before the user asks a question. Resources require the same authentication and read scope as MCP tools.

Resource support varies by MCP client. Not all clients read resources automatically.

Common MCP errors and how to fix them

Error	Cause	Fix
`Unauthorized: Invalid or inactive API key`	Missing, revoked, or inactive token	Check your API key is active, or reconnect over OAuth
`Unauthorized: API access not available on your plan`	Your plan does not include API access	Check your plan
Tool not appearing	Missing scope on your connection	Grant the required scope: `read:watchlist` for watchlist tools
`Monthly API request limit exceeded`	Hit your monthly request limit	Wait for the monthly reset, or move to a higher plan
